Mike Hogan began his aviation sales career in the late 1990s when he was hired by Piedmont Aviation to be a Market Analyst and Sales Associate. As Piedmont was one of the largest Beechcraft dealers in the world at the time, Mike learned quickly the intricacies and features among the fleet of piston and turboprop aircraft, from the Bonanza to the mighty King Airs. Mike spent the next 14 years selling new and used Beechcraft models in addition to numerous types of pre-owned light jets and turboprops. In 2011, Mike founded his own company, Pelican Aircraft Consulting, to provide aircraft management and sales services.
Mike utilizes his business aviation sales and management acumen to help both his clients and industry colleagues; he recently served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Washington Business Aviation Association. As a seasoned pilot, Mike currently holds an ATP pilot’s license with a multi-engine rating. His logbook shows over 5,000 hours of flight time in multitude of airplanes, from a Piper J-3 Cub to a King Air 350. He is also single-pilot type rated in the Citation Mustang. Mike’s father introduced him to warbird aircraft when he was young, and still today, Mike is an active pilot in the warbird community, flying nine different types of historical military aircraft.
Mike Hogan is based in the Washington, D.C. area and helps jetAVIVA clients in buying, selling, and operating Beechcraft King Air products.
